About Carisma Group
Carisma Group was created with motor fleets in mind. The company founders began research and development activities in earnest in early 2021, driven by a vision to modernise risk management and insurance solutions for evolving mobility and commercial sectors. In late 2022, Carisma Group became an Enterprise Ireland High Potential Start-Up. Backed by a select group of investors, the company submitted its application to the Central Bank of Ireland in 2023 and obtained authorisation in February 2024 to operate as both a domestic and international non-life insurance and reinsurance intermediary.
With offices in Dublin and Westmeath, Carisma Group combines expertise in motor, fleet, and mobility risks with the capability to support a much broader range of insurance requirements. While the company’s roots are firmly in fleet underwriting and risk management, its ambition is to bring the benefits of innovative insurance design, data-driven risk solutions, and traditional underwriting disciplines to organisations across multiple sectors throughout Europe.
Carisma Group is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland to operate across the European Union under applicable passporting arrangements and can support solutions across all 18 classes of non-life insurance. This enables the company to work with clients, insurers, brokers, affinity partners, and risk-bearing entities to develop tailored insurance and risk transfer programmes that meet diverse commercial needs while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and customer protection.
